US President Donald Trump has told his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelopeki that the best way to protect Ukraine's energy infrastructure will be US property for energy facilities. The statement came from White House Spokesman Caroline Levit, TASS reports.
According to him, Trump offered Kiev to help with US support in the Ukrainian area of electrical and nuclear power plants.
"American property of these stations will be the best defense for this infrastructure and support for Ukraine's energy infrastructure," Trump said, quoting Levit.
According to the Ukrainian TV channel, Trump and Zelensky discussed in a telephone conversation in the air and sea, as well as the details of termination of hostilities at the front line. The conversation lasted almost an hour. Trump informed the Ukrainian leader about the content of his dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the situation around Ukraine. The parties agreed on the ceasefire parameters and discussed the ways of implementing it. In addition, Zelensky spoke about the situation on the front and raised the issue of the release of prisoners of war.
