Tattoos are dangerous for your health, warn doctors

The pignum of the tattoo can cause a number of autoin reactions in the body and thus cause a lymphoma. At the same time, it does not depend on the size of the drawing, "said Ekaterina Verteva, oncologist-dermatologist Yekaterina Verteva.

Earlier, a group of scholars from Denmark and Finland found that having tattoos on the body could increase the risk of skin cancer and lymphoma. According to the study, the risk of ink is accumulated in lymph nodes and can lead to chronic inflammation. The risk is especially large for those whose tattoos are greater than the palm of the hand.

At the same time, the expert added that tattoos can really cause lymphoma and pseudymofoma (bened disease).

"In our practice, we have seen such cases in connection with tattoos. This is due to the fact that the coloring pigment generates the activation of the immune system and the cause of some autoimmou reactions. Moreover, it does not depend on the size of the picture, "he said.

"On the other hand, we can often miss melanoma or other cancer because they are in the picture area, and patients do not pay attention to them," said the specialist.

In his turn, Associate Professor of the Chair of Infectious Diseases of the University of Rudn, Sergey Woznesky reminded that he could lead to dangerous diseases.
