TELEVISION AND RADIO COMMITTEE: "Extraordinary elections to the Gyumri community of Gyumri community of Shirak region of Armenia will take place on March 30 2025
The official campaign has not yet started, the pre-election struggle, including in the media, is already going on.
It should be noted that it is often of the Armenian media campaign championships not to provide programs, ideas, vision, but hate speech, the obsession with the opponent, contempt for the enemy.
The Television and Radio Commission addresses the political forces in the Gyumri Community Council, the employees of the election headquarters, the members of the election commissions, and observers to ensure the right to receive information, respect for journalists and the media, respect the basic principles of freedom of speech.
At the same time, the regulatory body calls on all audit media outlets during this pre-election periods, ensuring, pluralism, the opportunity to answer and deny the principles of accepted professional ethics.
The commission, emphasizing the programs of the parties and alliances of the parties participating in the elections to be aware of the rights of voters, will be able to act steadily in accordance with the Law of the RA Electoral Code during the pre-election campaign.
As well as guided by the Commission on the pre-election campaign of the Gyumri Community of the RA Chiefs of Determination of the Council of Elders of the Gyumri Community of the Republic of Armenia, the Commissioner for Assessing the Evaluation of the Parties to the Evaluation of the Party Alliances.
Once again, we urge our country to promote civil solidarity for this responsible period, not to use the campaign to create new dividing lines between different parts of society. "
