“Today marks one month since the death of Mher Sahakyan, a deputy of the National Assembly “Armenia” faction, but it is still unclear what happened to Mher Sahakyan, under what circumstances his car ended up in the depths of the canyon, and how he died.
The “Zhoghovurd” daily has applied to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, from which they responded that they have not yet received the conclusions of the appointed examinations. This means that after one month, the death of the deputy still remains a mystery.
As previously reported, the 911 emergency service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call that a car had fallen into a ravine on the Yerevan-Yeraskh-Meghri highway near Tigranashen, and had rolled about 350-400 meters into the deep.
Rescuers found the body of Mher Sahakyan, a member of the National Assembly and a member of the "Armenia" faction, in the car, whom they had been searching for since the previous day.
The deputy's colleagues told ArmLur.am that Sahakyan had gone to the airport, met his parents who had returned from abroad, took them home, and then left, saying that he had business. 1 month after the incident, important questions remain unanswered.
Where did Mher Sahakyan go? Who was he with? Why did he end up at the Tigranashen bends? Relatives say that they have no acquaintances or friends in those areas. Who did he talk to last time, what did he say? Could someone have brought him there with the intention of harming him?
Is it possible that any CP member or CP pro-CP member could show vindictiveness, take revenge for the fact that he hit CP MP Vladimir Vardanyan during the session of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs on March 31, 2023. Why is this question, because CP members took cruel revenge on young Samvel Vardanyan?
On April 16, 2024, he was severely beaten and tortured with clubs by armed masked men, just forwho had insulted the (now former) MP Hakob Aslanyan from the Communist Party of Armenia on the bus.
Maybe Mher Sahakyan, who had been driving that car for 14 years, got lost due to weather conditions.
Maybe someone drove the car in his direction, which is why Sahakyan's car rolled into the gorge. Or maybe it was really an accident, and other questions cannot exist?
