A virus found that can steal data from iPhone photos. The specialists of Kaspersky Lab told RIA Novosti on February 4.

The Sparkcat virus is found in App Store and Google Play, hidden as messengers, smart assistants.

The virus is interested in any personal or sensitive information. "This is the first known case of integration of such viruses in the applications of iPhone. This confirms that even the closed iOS ecosystem is vulnerable, "the Nexta Live channel writes.

Experts call for tightening the App Store and advise users to be more careful about the selection of applications and updates operating systems.
