Russia bought a record number of tangerines from Georgia

In November, Russia increased its purchases of mandarins from Georgia by a quarter to 6.9 thousand tons, which is a record for this month, writes RIA Novosti.

As the agency explains, at the end of autumn, Russia increased its purchases of Georgian mandarins to 6.9 thousand tons, compared to 5.5 thousand tons last year. This is the highest volume of November shipments in the last 10 years.

The study showed that more than a third of Russians, 36%, plan to put store-made salads and snacks on the New Year's table.

The main reason for refusing to prepare the New Year's table by yourself is the lack of time. 68% of respondents gave this answer. Another 18% of respondents consider buying ready meals a way to relieve stress when planning a holiday table.
