An international organization should be created in the Middle East. Zarif

Iran's Vice President Mohammad Javad Zarif has proposed the creation of a new structure in the Middle East, called the Muslim West Asia Dialogue Association (MWADA), to establish stability in the region and strengthen cooperation between regional players, writes TASS.

“My experience has taught me that achieving stability in the Middle East, especially in the Persian Gulf, requires more than crisis management. As a mechanism for regional transformation, I propose the creation of a Muslim West Asia "Dialogue Association," Zarif wrote in an opinion piece for the British magazine The Economist.

According to the Iranian politician, the new initiative should unite all the Muslim countries of the Middle East: Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, UAE and Yemen on one platform, based on on common religion, collective security and the principle of non-interference.
