Elon Musk believes that it is increasingly likely that artificial intelligence (AI) will surpass human capabilities by the end of 2025.
"It is increasingly likely that AI will surpass the intelligence of all humans by the end of 2025, and possibly all humans by 2027/2028," Musk wrote on his X social network page.
Many experts in the field of AI development assume that humanity will eventually be able to create a computer system that acquires the ability to think and be aware of itself as an individual.
Such machines will be able to improve in solving any kind of problem, which in the future will dramatically accelerate scientific and technological progress and lead to the so-called technological singularity - the explosive and uncontrolled technological development of civilization.
