"Magic New Year's protest night" in Tbilisi

Demanding new parliamentary elections in Georgia, thousands of people are planning to welcome the New Year with a protest on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, GeorgiaNews reports.
Almost 16,000 people have already confirmed their participation on the Facebook page of the event called "Magical New Year's Protest Night". Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili is also planning to join.

"The new year will be a year of victory, peace and freedom. Let's meet together," Zurabishvili wrote on the social network.

According to the organizers, the protesters will start gathering in Rustaveli on December 31 at 11:00 p.m. Their main message is: "Only we, the Georgian people, are legitimate in this country."
