The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, during a phone conversation with the newly elected US President, Donald Trump, called on him to provide support to Ukraine, according to a statement released by the British government.
"The Prime Minister reiterated that it is necessary for the allies to stand by Ukraine in the conditions of Russian aggression and ensure that Ukraine is in the strongest possible position," the message states.
In addition, in the conversation with Trump, the Prime Minister of Great Britain emphasized the need for joint work to ensure peace and security in the Middle East. The leaders of the two countries announced that they expect joint work in the field of international security and economic growth.
