Australian Member of Parliament Paul Fletchersent a letterEmbassy of Azerbaijan, calling for the immediate release of Artsakh Republic NA Speaker Davit Ishkhanyan.
Fletcher also demanded to provide monthly information on Davit Ishkhanyan's mental and physical health.
The letter states: "In 2019, several dozen of my colleagues and I met with Mr. Ishkhanyan in our Federal Parliament. It is for this reason that the conditions of his arrest and detention are of particular concern to me."
Paul Fletcher concluded the letter with the following statement. "The world is watching Azerbaijan. Australia follows Azerbaijan."
The Armenian Committee of Australia thanked Fletcher for his letter and commitment to the release of all Armenian hostages.
