Peskov commented on the events taking place in Georgia

Everything that happens in Georgia is the internal affairs of that country, Russia is not going to interfere in those processes, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President.

"What is happening in Georgia is the internal affairs of Georgia, we have not interfered and will not interfere in those processes," said Peskov.

Another series of opposition protests in Georgia began on Thursday after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the decision to suspend the discussion of the start of negotiations on the country's membership in the European Union until 2028.

Demonstrators used firecrackers, stones, bottles, it was reported that Molotov cocktails were found at the massacre site. Security forces respond using special equipment, including water cannons.
