Georgia is not considering calling new parliamentary elections

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze stated that the authorities are not considering holding new parliamentary elections.

"Of course not, what is it about," said Kobakhidze, answering the journalists' question whether the authorities are going to hold elections again in the country.

Parliamentary elections in Georgia took place on October 26. According to the final data of the Central Electoral Commission, the ruling "Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia" party won with 53.93% of the votes and received 89 out of 150 mandates in the legislative body.
