Yulia Kuznetsova, the editor-in-chief of Narodnaya Gazeta, was killed in a drone attack in the Kursk region, the head of the region, Alexei Smirnov, said on his Telegram channel.
He detailed that Kuznetsova was moving the archival documents of the editorial office and was preparing to publish an article about the situation in the region.
As a result of the attack on the car, the editor of the magazine and one of the local district police officers were also injured. The victims were taken to the hospital, where they received the necessary medical assistance.
