A large landscape fire was extinguished in Khakassia, according to the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. Dry grass was burning near the village of Kurgannaya, and the fire threatened residential buildings, the agency reported earlier. Later it was reported that the fire was localized in Khakassia to an area of 10 hectares; the fire was not allowed to spread to populated areas. “In Khakassia, firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished a landscape fire on 10 hectares,” the report says.
