The mayor of Ajapnyak announced his resignation on the social page of the municipality.
"As of today, I am terminating my authority as the head of the administrative district.
The large-scale works carried out by me and the staff in the previous 2 and more years were aimed at the development of the Yerevan community and primarily at creating a comfortable urban environment for the residents of our administrative region.
For the work done in these years, I want to thank the people of Ajapniak and all the kind employees of the staff who spared no effort and energy in the responsible task of having a better Ajapniak.
I also deeply thank the Mayor of Yerevan for his trust and support. Summarizing my speech, I wish the people of Ajapniak (Cheremushki) well-being, and the administrative region - prosperity and stable development."
