On July 19, at 15:55, Vayots Dzor Regional Operational Management Center received an alarm that a citizen was drowning in the waterfall of Goghtanik village.
The operative group of the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the diver of the special purpose rescue operations center of the Rescue Forces Department went to the scene.
It was found that the citizen jumped into the water from a height of about 4 m and drowned. As a result of the search, the diver brought out the citizen's body from a depth of about 6 m. The rescuers demarcated the area and brought the body closer to the car carrying the body.
