The construction of the statue of Jesus Christ is currently ongoing, but problems may arise in the near future. Iveta Tonoyan, spokesperson of "Prosperous Armenia" party leader Gagik Tsarukyan, told the media about this.
As is known, the construction of the statue is being carried out by the initiative and funds of Gagik Tsarukyan, and the factory that supplied the necessary stones is now closed.
"At some point, problems will arise in the sense that the supply of concrete facing tiles is carried out by the company "Multi Stone", whose activity is also stopped at the moment. That company is also bankrupt, and the problems of raw stone will have an impact on the construction process. Although yes, at the moment the construction is in progress," said Tonoyan.
