2024 On November 2, a report was received from the director of the SP company, which sells electrical equipment and furniture, that the day before, around 6:15 p.m., around 10-15 people entered the company's premises, demanded money from him, so that he would not be disturbed by other people in the future. and in order not to offend, which he refused, after which the people who broke into the office beat him, while secretly stealing cash from the safe.
Regarding the case, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia in the Shengavit Administrative District initiated a criminal proceeding under the 3rd and 7th clauses of Part 2 of Article 252 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, within which the director of the SP company was recognized as a victim. During the preliminary investigation, with the police officers as a result of the necessary measures implemented jointly, a number of circumstances of essential importance for the investigation of the case were revealed, including the identity of one of the persons who committed the alleged crime, who is a 39-year-old resident of the city of Yerevan.
The 39-year-old man was found and arrested as a result of the measures taken by the investigators of Shengavit administrative district and the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Urgent investigative actions were carried out: inspection of the scene of the incident, video recordings of the company's security cameras were seized and subjected to examination. A number of persons were interrogated, a face-to-face interrogation was also performed, and a forensic medical examination was assigned to the victim.
According to the information obtained through evidentiary operations, a group of 39-year-old man, with initial consent and accompaniment of around 13 people, visited the mentioned SP company on Shiraki Street in Yerevan on the specified day and offered the director to sponsor him in return for solving his financial problems. give a monthly salary.
After receiving the refusal of the director of the company, the said person together with his accomplices, complementing each other's actions, hit the director, and after the latter fell down, they continued these actions, hitting his face, neck and head.
During that time, according to preliminary data, a large amount of AMD 2,500,000 was stolen from the safe in the office. A decision was made to prosecute a 39-year-old man according to points 3 and 7 of part 2 of Article 252 of the RA Criminal Code. to prosecute and he was charged.
A motion was submitted to the court to apply detention as a preventive measure against him, which was granted. The preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are being taken to find out the full range of persons who apparently committed a crime, identify them and present them to the body implementing the proceedings.
