Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation with Donald Trump and congratulated him on his victory in the US presidential election, expressing his readiness to work together.
"Had a wonderful conversation with my friend President Donald Trump, congratulating him on his impressive victory," the Indian government chief tweeted on X (formerly Twitter). "I look forward to working closely together again to further strengthen the India-US relationship in the areas of technology, defence, energy, space and several others," Modi added.
