Today, on June 6, the famous French-Armenian historian and genocide scholar Raymond Harutyun Gevorgyan's "The End of the Genocide" took place in Yerevan. Presentation of the Russian edition of Mustafa Kemal and the destruction of the saved Armenians and Greeks (1918-1922). The book presentation was organized with the support of businessman Artur Soghomonyan, Narekatsi Institute, ANIV Armenological Research Development Fund and the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
The event brought together historians, representatives of scientific and cultural circles, students, as well as many citizens interested in the topic.
During the meeting, the author presented the history of the creation of the book, its ideological and scientific foundations, as well as the key conclusions of the research, referring to the last stage of the Armenian Genocide, the policy implemented against the Armenian and Greek survivors in the post-war years, and the long-term historical consequences of those tragic events.
The presentation took place in an atmosphere of active and meaningful discussions, turning into an important platform for scientific thoughts and historical analysis. The event once again emphasized the exceptional importance of preserving historical memory, promoting academic research and passing historical truth to generations.
