Armen Hovhannisyan, a citizen who was arrested for tearing down a pre-election poster, and then taken by the police this morning from the place of arrest to the Nubarashen psychiatric hospital, committed suicide. He was accused of obstructing the pre-election campaign.
According to the police, "the detainee's mentally unbalanced behavior was observed, after which the detainee was taken to the mental health center under the direction of the emergency doctor, accompanied by the police." Later today, the Nubarashen psychiatric hospital informed the Ministry of Internal Affairs that the citizen committed suicide by hanging himself.
What is this, do any of the journalists or lawyers have any information on whether we will continue to rely on the police report."
