The delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Inga Ruginiene, who arrived in Armenia to participate in the 8th European Political Community Summit, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial, accompanied by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia Andrius Pulokas. This was reported by the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
The guests were welcomed and accompanied during the visit by Hrachya Tashchyan, acting director of the Armenian Genocide Memorial, presenting the advice and significance of the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.
Mrs. Inga Ruginiene laid a wreath at the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, after which the other members of the delegation placed flowers near the eternal flame and observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The members of the delegation from Lithuania visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, where, accompanied by Elen Hakobyan, they got acquainted with the permanent and temporary exhibitions, then Mrs. Inga Ruginiene made a note in the memorial book of the honored guests.
Expressing his gratitude for the visit, Hrachya Tashchyan, acting director of the Armenian Genocide Museum, presented the Armenian Genocide Museum English picture book to the high-ranking guest.
