Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan participated in the meeting of the "Great Seven" (G7) environment ministers, which in its format and agenda has a special historical significance in the context of the formation of global environmental policy.
Before the start of agenda work, Hambardzum Matevosyan had friendly contacts and welcome meetings with fellow ministers and heads of delegations, emphasizing the importance of deepening international cooperation and joint, coordinated actions.
During the day, a number of working sessions are planned, within the framework of which the issues of ocean protection and restoration, biodiversity protection and financing mechanisms will be discussed, as well as challenges related to the fight against desertification, sustainable management of water resources and the environment and health.
