The RA embassy in Lebanon continues to work in emergency mode. Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry

The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon continues to work in emergency mode, providing the necessary consultation and consular services. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"The hotlines launched by the embassy continue to work: +961 3 157 305, +961 3 536 041.

Lebanon's airspace is open. There are direct flights from Beirut to Yerevan twice a week.

Regular meetings are held with RA citizens in Lebanon in order to discuss the range of possible challenges arising as a result of developments and additional work as needed.

On April 17, the RA Foreign Ministry welcomed the establishment of a 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon, which became a reality thanks to the mediating efforts of the US president and is an important step towards reducing the tension in the situation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that this development will contribute to the establishment of comprehensive and lasting peace in the region, respecting the territorial integrity of the parties," the statement said.
