Four people were injured in Paris, two of them seriously, after an unknown person attacked people with an ax on a train, reports Agence France-Presse.
"Four people were injured, two of them seriously," the media reports citing a police source. It is reported that the hand of one of the victims was cut off, and the other was shot in the head. The other two received lighter injuries.
As reported by the autonomous Paris transport agency, railway traffic is disrupted in both directions, up to the Saint-Lazare railway station in the center of Paris.
The police and rescuers are at the scene.
