The United States does not need Ukraine's help in intercepting Iranian drones in the Middle East, Trump said in a telephone conversation with NBC News.

When the TV channel asked about the aid to Ukraine, Trump answered: "Zelensky is the last person we need help from."

At the same time, Trump refused to comment on the question of whether the United States accepted Ukraine's help in the field of technology to intercept drones.

The US president noted that he was surprised that Zelensky does not want a peace agreement, while Putin, according to the head of the White House, is ready for it.

"I am surprised that Zelensky does not want a deal. Tell Zelensky to make a deal, because Putin is ready for a deal... It is much more difficult to negotiate with Zelensky," said Trump.
