According to the experts of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, a strong earthquake occurred in the central part of Turkey.
The tremors were recorded on the night of Friday, March 13, at 03:35 local time. According to seismologists, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.3.
The epicenter was located approximately 46 kilometers northeast of the city of Tokat and 21 kilometers from the city of Erba. The epicenter was located at a depth of six kilometers.
