The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan issued a statement regarding the missile attack by Iran on the territory of Turkey.
"We strongly condemn the missile attack launched on the territory of Turkey and neutralized above Gaziantep. Such actions pose a serious threat to regional peace and security and are unacceptable."
We express our full solidarity with the fraternal Republic of Turkey. "Azerbaijan firmly supports Turkey," the statement said.
It should be noted that the ballistic missile launched from Iran and entered Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO's air and anti-missile defense systems located in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.
