Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi, who is mediating talks between Washington and Tehran, believes Iran is ready to discuss its missiles with the United States, as well as other non-nuclear issues. He announced this in an interview with the American CBS TV channel.
"I think Iran is ready to discuss everything," al-Busaidi said when asked if Iran would agree to discuss not only its nuclear program but also its ballistic missiles during the talks.
"The priority now is to resolve the nuclear issue through a proper agreement that will clearly define the obligations of both sides.
I think we have discussed and possibly agreed on an approach to discussing non-nuclear issues in the context of regional dialogue between Iran and its neighbors," al-Busaidi explained.
