"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"According to well-informed sources of "Zhoghovurd" daily, the fact that the election committee of the first round of the party's pre-election list was headed by NA Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan, and the secretary was Kristine Poghosyan, deputy of the CP faction, caused dissatisfaction in the CP team. The point is that both Arshakyan and Poghosyan refused to be included in the 2026 CP election list. In other words, they have closed the parliamentary page in their lives.
According to our CP sources, a question was raised: why such a responsible process was entrusted to those figures who have already decided to leave the parliamentary life? "Zhoghovurd" daily found out that the candidacy of Arshakyan and Poghosyan was approved by the CP Department, and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took the initiative, because he considered that Arshakyan and Poghosyan would be objective and would not have personal interests.
The CP administration also voted in favor of the proposal, handing them that important responsibility. By the way, let's note that Arshakyan and Poghosyan will lead the elections for the first 50 numbers of the KP pre-election list to be held on March 27 and 28."
