Reuters reports that the US special representative Steve Wittkoff and the son-in-law of the US president, Jared Kushner, will participate in the talks on Iran on Tuesday in Geneva, before meeting with Russia and Ukraine.
"They will take part in morning indirect talks with Iranian officials in Geneva before taking a quick tour of the city to mediate talks between Ukraine and Russia," the statement said.
Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia, confirmed on February 13 that discussions on the settlement of Ukraine will continue on February 17-18. The Russian delegation in Geneva will be headed by Vladimir Medinsky, assistant to the president. Wittkoff and the son-in-law of the US president, Jared Kushner, will also take part in the settlement meeting to be held in Geneva on Tuesday.
