Axios. The US has launched an investigation into the crimes at Epstein's New Mexico ranch

The New Mexico House of Representatives has created a special committee to investigate possible crimes committed at the ranch of American financier Jeffrey Epstein, with his personal involvement. Representative Andrea Romero, one of the commission's sponsors, told Axios.

According to the portal, Epstein acquired Zorro Farm in New Mexico in 1993 and owned it until his death in 2019. The property has appeared repeatedly in documents released by the US Department of Justice in the Epstein case, including claims by some victims that they were abused at the ranch.

Agro himself was previously the subject of a criminal investigation in New Mexico, but the case was dropped after Epstein's death. Now, state lawmakers hope to uncover all the facts about possible crimes at the ranch, including human trafficking and child abuse.
