The plane carrying the US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff, which was supposed to be taking him to Geneva for the next round of negotiations on the Ukraine issue, reported the correspondent of RIA Novosti on Tuesday. Bombardier Global 7500 business plane landed at Geneva airport at 9:55 Moscow time.
As previously announced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US President's special envoy Steve Wittkoff and US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner will take part in the negotiations to be held in Geneva. On February 13, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, confirmed that the discussions on the issue of Ukraine will continue on February 17-18.
The Russian delegation in Geneva will be headed by Vladimir Medinsky, assistant to the president.
