Sibigan met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Munich

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiha reported on the meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi within the framework of the Munich Security Conference.


"In Munich, I had a meaningful and productive meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.


We focused on ways to develop mutually beneficial trade and bilateral ties," Sibikha was quoted as saying by the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The Ukrainian minister also thanked the Chinese side for "Beijing's decision to provide an additional package of humanitarian energy aid to Ukraine" and invited Wang Yi to visit Ukraine in return for an invitation to visit China.


The dates have not been announced yet. The 62nd Munich Security Conference is taking place from February 13 to 15 in the Bavarian capital.
