The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany has issued a warning statement for those traveling to Turkey and German citizens staying there. In particular, he noted that some German citizens in Turkey were arrested and a ban was imposed on their entry.
It is noted that such situations do not concern only those with a criminal record, but also civilians. It was especially emphasized that in some cases the posts made on social networks about Turkey were taken into account.
It advised German citizens planning to travel to Turkey to review their legal status before traveling and to contact German diplomatic missions in case of possible arrest.
