Turkey and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement in the field of military industry

ULAQ Global, Turkey's first remote-controlled marine vehicle exporter, has signed a new cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia, expanding its presence in the international market. Within the framework of the "World Defense Show 2026" exhibition held in Riyadh, "ULAQ Global Autonomous Systems" and Saudi Arabia's "SAMI Autonomous Company" signed an agreement, which provides for the joint design, development, production, system integration and maintenance of remote-controlled marine vehicles.

The agreement also provides for the transfer of technology and the organization of local production in Saudi Arabia. This is the first such agreement signed between the two countries in this field and is in line with Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" program, which aims to develop its own military industry.
