Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and US President Donald Trump discussed efforts to ease regional tension and stability during a telephone conversation, the office of the Emir of Qatar reported.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged thoughts on the important developments taking place in the regional and international arenas, in particular, the situation created in the region and international efforts aimed at de-escalation of tensions, regional security and peace.
They also emphasized the importance of continued coordination and consultation on issues of common interest, as well as supporting diplomatic efforts to resolve crises through dialogue and peaceful means.
