Iranian Foreign Ministry: The Epstein case is considered a project to advance Israel's interests

Iran believes that the accusations of pedophilia against American financier Jeffrey Epstein are part of a large-scale and long-term project to advance Israel's foreign policy goals. This was announced by the representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghai.

"Given the many reports that the Zionist regime (based on Israel) or a number of other countries are using these cases and fabricated stories to advance their political goals, the speculation is growing that the whole process may be part of a long-term and large-scale project to advance the political goals of some parties, especially the Zionist regime," he said during a weekly briefing.

Bagha called this situation catastrophic and emphasized that it should not be underestimated and one should not think that the problem concerns only the USA or one person.

"These crimes have deeply hurt human feelings around the world and to some extent should be considered as crimes against humanity," he added.
