The chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Wolfgang Ischinger, referring to the unrest in Iran, said that the official representatives of the country will not participate in the event, while representatives of the Iranian opposition will be given a voice.
The Munich Security Conference will take place on February 13-15.
"Due to the mass unrest in Iran, we cannot receive the representatives of the Tehran government. Nevertheless, representatives of the Iranian opposition and civil society will have their say in Munich," Ischinger told reporters during the press conference.
