The "Peace Council" on Gaza issues formed by US President Donald Trump can contribute to the process of peace and recovery in the region, taking into account the degree of influence of the US on Israel, former Prime Minister of Russia, President of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society Sergey Stepashin said.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced the formation of the "Peace Council" for the purpose of restoring and managing the Gaza Strip. The administration of the US president has sent invitations to about 50 heads of state to participate in the work of the council. The latter have been publicly announcing for several days that they have received the American president's proposals. The list of invitees includes countries from different regions:
