France and Ukraine have agreed on the joint development of drones

France and Ukraine have signed a letter to jointly develop unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other defense technologies. This was announced on the X social platform by the Minister of the French Armed Forces, Catherine Vautrin, following the results of her visit to Kyiv.

"I have signed a letter of intent with my colleague, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mikhail Fyodorov, regarding the joint development and implementation of innovative defense solutions, particularly in the field of unmanned systems and data processing," the head of the military department informed. He also informed that he visited a factory engaged in the production of combat drones in Ukraine.

During the visit, Vautrin was accompanied by senior French military officials, including Vice Admiral Jacques Faillard.
