The administration of US President Donald Trump is interested in maintaining existing restrictions on nuclear weapons and engaging China in arms control negotiations. The British newspaper Financial Times informs about it, referring to an official of the White House.
"President Trump has repeatedly spoken about the threat that nuclear weapons pose to the world, and has indicated that he would like to maintain limitations on nuclear weapons and engage China in negotiations on disarmament and arms control," said a representative of the Washington administration.
