Wagons carrying grain were sent from Russia to Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan. According to "Armenpress", this is reported by Haqqin.az.
"A 25-wagon train carrying Russian grain left the Bilajari station. The total volume of cargo is 1746 tons. The train will move to Georgia, from where it will go to Dalarik station in Armenia," the media reported.
On November 6, 2025, the consignment of Russian wheat reached Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan. About 1,000 tons of wheat were transported from Russia to Armenia by railway through the territory of Azerbaijan. On November 8, the shipment of Kazakh wheat, again 1000 tons, reached Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan.
Before that, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, announced that Azerbaijan has removed all restrictions on the transit of goods through its territory to Armenia. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan welcomed Azerbaijan's decision and announced that Armenia, in turn, has removed all restrictions on cargo transportation through its territory to Azerbaijan.
On November 6, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation announced that it will export another 132 wagons of wheat to Armenia by the end of January 2026 by the railway passing through the territory of Azerbaijan.
