The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey accused Israel of not implementing the Gaza peace plan and called on the international community to fulfill its responsibility to advance the peace process.
"We strongly condemn today's attacks by Israel on the Gaza Strip and the continuous violations of the cease-fire," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the attacks took place when the peace process in Gaza entered a new phase, and that such actions undermine international efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region. Ankara believes that these events show Israel's lack of interest in achieving peace.
