The Istanbul-Tehran flight made an emergency landing in Ankara

The plane carrying out the Istanbul-Tehran flight made an emergency landing in Ankara after giving an alarm signal, reports HavasosyalMedya.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 of the Ajet airline company transmitted the code 7700 while flying on the Sabiha Gökçen-Tehran route, as a result of which it made an emergency landing in Ankara.

According to the Turkish website, the code 7700 does not necessarily mean that the situation is dire. The purpose of this signal is to inform aviation regulatory services about emergency situations occurring on board.
