The Pentagon and the White House presented plans to attack Iran

The Pentagon and the White House presented plans for a jointly developed military attack against Iran, writes The Wall Street Journal newspaper, referring to informed sources.

"Information was provided on possible attack options against Iran, developed by the White House and the Pentagon," the article states.

The newspaper notes that among them is the so-called "grand plan", which envisages US strikes on state institutions and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) facilities as part of a large-scale bombing campaign.

As noted, more limited options include strikes against government targets, leaving room for increased attacks if Iran does not agree to a deal.
