NYT: Western special services have found no evidence of Iran developing nuclear weapons

Western intelligence agencies have reported no signs that Tehran is working to enrich uranium to weapons-grade levels or is taking steps to build a nuclear warhead. This was reported by The New York Times newspaper, referring to sources familiar with the intelligence data.

"Western intelligence agencies have found no indication that high-level enrichment is being carried out to obtain material suitable for the production of a bomb, or other activities towards the creation of an actual warhead. Enriched uranium stored in three facilities that were hit in June remains in place and appears to be undamaged," the publication said.

According to US estimates, Iran has not built new nuclear facilities, although activity has been recorded at two unfinished sites in Natanz and Isfahan, the newspaper writes.

According to Israeli and American special services, the 2025 military operation has pushed back the Iranian project by six months to a year.
