Kyiv believes that significant progress has been made in the negotiations. Wittkoff

Kiev believes that after the US-Ukraine negotiations in Geneva since November, more progress has been made in the direction of peaceful settlement than during the entire conflict. This was announced by the US President's special envoy Steven Wittkoff.

The US government evaluated the negotiations of the representatives of Russia, the USA and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, as positive and constructive, noting that the Russian and Ukrainian delegations communicated directly.

"Ukrainians have essentially said that we have made more progress after Geneva than we have in the past four years of the conflict," Wittkoff said during a meeting with US President Donald Trump and members of his cabinet at the White House.
