Modi discussed the development of relations between India and Venezuela with Rodriguez

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation with Delsey Rodríguez, the plenipotentiary representative of the President of Venezuela, during which the prospects for the development of bilateral relations between the countries were discussed.

"I spoke with Delsey Rodríguez, the plenipotentiary representative of the President of Venezuela. We agreed to continue deepening and expanding our bilateral partnership in all fields, guided by the common vision of raising Indo-Venezuelan relations to a new level in the coming years," Modi wrote on the X social platform.

On January 3, the United States attacked civilian and military facilities in Venezuela. Ivan Gil Pinto, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic, described Washington's actions as military aggression.

A state of emergency has been declared in the country.
